We know—terms and conditions don’t sound like the most exciting read. But don’t worry, we’ve kept things as clear and straightforward as possible.

At Revise Right, we’re all about helping you learn in a way that’s safe, secure, and fair for everyone. These terms set out the ground rules for using our platform—so you know what to expect from us, and what we expect from you in return.

They exist to protect you, your data, and our community. We want you to feel confident using Revise Right—whether you’re smashing your revision goals or just getting started.


TERMS & CONDITIONS  

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our platform. 

1. INTERPRETATION AND DEFINITIONS 

INTERPRETATION 

Words in bold have defined meanings under these terms. The following definitions apply whether the terms appear in singular or plural.

DEFINITIONS 

  • Account — a unique account created for you to access our service.

  • Company (referred to as “Revise Right”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) — Revise Right Education Ltd.

  • Country — the United Kingdom.

  • Device — any device that can access the service (e.g. computer, smartphone, tablet).

  • Feedback — any comments, suggestions, or inputs you provide about the service.

  • Service — the Revise Right website and platform.

  • Subscription — any paid access plan you purchase from us.

  • Website — Revise Right, accessible from https://www.reviseright.io/

  • You — the individual or legal entity using our service.


2. ACKNOWLEDGMENT 

These terms and conditions govern your use of our Service and form the legal agreement between you and Revise Right Education Ltd.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must not access the Service.

Use of our Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.

2A. Age Restrictions

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 13, you must not register or provide any personal information to us.

If we become aware that we have collected data from someone under 13, we will delete it immediately. 


3. USER ACCOUNTS 

When you create an Account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your Account credentials secure.

You must not share your Account or use someone else’s. If we believe an Account has been shared, we may suspend or terminate it.


4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 

All content, branding, and materials on the Service (excluding user-generated content) are the intellectual property of Revise Right Education Ltd and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reuse, copy, or redistribute any content from the Service without our written permission.

4A. Educational Use Only

The content on Revise Right is intended to support revision and learning. While we aim for accuracy and exam-board alignment, we cannot guarantee that our materials will exactly match school teaching or examination requirements.

You should always consult your school or exam board for definitive guidance. Any use of the Service is at your own discretion.

We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, grades, or performance improvements.

Revise Right is a study tool designed to support your learning—but your progress depends on your own effort, exam board expectations, and other factors beyond our control.


5. FEEDBACK 

By submitting Feedback to us, you assign all rights to that Feedback to Revise Right.

If that assignment is ineffective for any reason, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and modify the Feedback for any purpose.


6. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENTS 

All content on Revise Right is accessible only with an active, paid Subscription.

We offer three types of Subscriptions:

  • Free Intro Account – Get instant access to past papers and snippets of our premium resources, so you can explore how the platform works. No payment required.

  • Monthly — billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis.

  • Yearly — billed in advance for 12 months of access.

Your Subscription will renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it via your Account settings before the renewal date.

We reserve the right to change our pricing or billing terms at any time. Where possible, we’ll provide notice in advance.

To purchase a Subscription, you must either:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or

  • Have the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

We may suspend or terminate your Account if:

  • Payment fails

  • You breach these terms

  • We detect Account sharing

We do not offer refunds on purchases made through the Site.


7. TERMINATION 

You may cancel your Subscription at any time through your Account settings.

  • If you have a monthly Subscription, cancellation will stop your next billing cycle. You’ll continue to have access to the Service until the end of your current month.

  • If you have a yearly Subscription, cancellation will take effect at the end of your 12-month term. You will continue to have access until your current yearly period ends.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Account immediately and without notice if you violate these terms, including Account sharing or non-payment

Upon cancellation or termination, you will no longer be able to access the Service once your billing period ends.


8. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES 

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or operations of those external sites.

We recommend reviewing the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

8A. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Share your Account login details with others

  • Access the Service using automated tools such as bots or scrapers

  • Post or transmit any harmful, offensive, unlawful, or misleading content

  • Reverse engineer, duplicate, or modify the platform without permission

  • Upload viruses or attempt to interfere with the operation of the Service 

  • Log in to your Account on more than five (5) devices in any 30-day period

Violation of these terms may result in suspension or permanent termination of your Account.


9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for: 

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Any loss of data, profits, or business

  • Errors or outdated information in our content

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the last 12 months.


10. “AS IS” DISCLAIMER 

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind—express or implied.

We do not guarantee that access will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.


11. VIRUSES AND SECURITY 

You are responsible for securing your own Device when using the Service.

You must not introduce malware, attempt to hack our platform, or engage in any activity that compromises our security.

Any such actions may result in suspension of your Account and could lead to criminal prosecution under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.


12. GOVERNING LAW  

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes must first be attempted to be resolved by contacting us directly.


13. CHANGES TO TERMS 

We may update these terms from time to time. Where required, we’ll notify you of any material changes.

Continued use of the Service after changes are made means you accept the revised terms.
